My Grandkids all sew and there ages are 11,9, and 8..The older are boys and the 8 year old is a girl...They all got together and made a lap quilt for there mom for Mother's Day, I did all the cutting and they put it together and sewed it...it can out pretty good for there first quilt..they took turns sewing so it worked out well and all of them had a hand in making it..They used my #1+ Hus and I turned the speed down to really slow and told them to watch there fingers...when one got tired of sewing the other tool over..
