Honchey ... Hexie measurements are taken for the flat side. However, many get confused too, so I double check when a size is mentioned. For the QOTS blocks 14"x16", it doesn't apply, as the measurement they give is the finished block, with the wing triangles added to give the finished rectangle.
QNSue ... Michelle Foster is not QOTS. MF is the Aim for Accuracy quilt that
GGal is doing. Also, that the original DJs finish at 4-1/2".
