the ''best thread'' to use is the one that works for you- has the colors, weights, fibers you prefer- your machine likes it and it is priced in your price range. there is no...which is best...I've been using threads from connecting threads for a few years now and have been very happy- I also purchase thread from Superior Thread, Atlanta Thread company, YLI and my local quilt shop...once in a blue moon I may even drop into joannes and pick up a spool/cone of thread when I can not locate a color else where and need it 'right not' can't wait to order it. it's nice to try new products from different sources- and compare prices & qualities- machines tend to have personalities of their own too- and some threads work well in one & not at all in a different one-
