Question for experienced owners, the plastic track is broken. Is there a way at use narrow metal tubing in place of it? Saw were the lady on Quilting Tizzy replaced her's with it; only she used a wooded set-up on a table top. Thanks for the help. This is going to be fun meeting new people.
Yes you can replace the broken plastic track....we went to a welding supply company and purchased 1/4 inch stainless steel welding rod and it works perfectly in place of the plastic. I have a GMC Pro frame several years old and it makes it so much smoother. We bought three pieces so that we could replace the tracks on the platform as well as the long tracks on the table....strapped it to the side of our pick-up so that we could bring it home all in long pieces!
