I use a Lodge frying pan or Lodge flat round griddle nearly every day of my life and have never had problems with either. Of course, they both fit over 1 large burner.

When I'm doing a thick burger or a steak I start them on medium high with a dollop of oil or ghee in the middle to get that sizzle right away and never have a problem.
