Take your time on making my block and make it one of the blocks that you can already now how to make. I tell you now the wing block is a dossie to make. It took me awhile before I could get a wing block right.
Mary did you get the hang of making the wings block and would you do them again? I did come up with some paper templates you can try instead of using the 30 degree templates. They are like a shirt pattern. You cut out the paper pieces and pin them to fabric. cut out around them trimming them to the same size as the paper template. then you have 4 pieces and you just sew them together into the Wings Block. Might seem easier to do.
