Default Candy Burgoyne Surround

I was so inspired by the beautiful Burgoyne Surround quilts, I have seen on here, I knew I wanted to try one. I asked my daughter what type of quilt would she like me to make for her and she picked it. I was thrilled to give it a try. So we went and picked the fabric she wanted and now it is finally finished!! This is several firsts for me. The "Candy" bits are 1 inch finished squares. It was quilted by our lovely Charisma with her Charisma Curls in the main body and loops along the border. When she showcased it in her blog, she mentioned it reminded her of candy, guess what, that is my daughters name!! Candy. How is that for coincidence?? When I was cutting the binding, I had to double check several times because it seemed so big at 2.5 inches!!
