Laugh for the day
I'm in the shower, rinsing shampoo out of my hair. Open my eyes and see a spider half an inch from my foot. Spent the next 30 seconds dancing madly, trying to get away from it, shrieking the entire time. Footsteps running down the hall, then some banging on the bathroom door. "Mom? MOM!! Are you okay?? What happened?!?!!? MOM?!?!?!" Then I realize the spider is simply a wadded-up length of hair, being bandied about by the water currents in the shower. Here's the bad part - I was so frazzled, I forgot to lie. They're STILL rolling on the floor, hooting and hollering.
