Not only do you need to have a 1/4 " seam allowance you need to be careful cutting your fabric. If you slant the rotary cutter that will throw your size off as well. Remember every small amount the block is off it's multiplied by how many blocks you make. Therefore a fraction of an inch becomes and inch eventually.
