Carrie, my elder FIL said 2 1/2 minutes for each half of one ear of corn in the microwave...works about the same on two ears and is quick and easy...I do husk mine first 'cause I hate the 'silk' on my ear of corn...personal choice. No salt or pepper or butter unless it goes to the grill half shucked.
