Default I was wandering about

the different in the old machines and the newer ones on stitch lengths. I just can't seem to remember the stitch lengths for the metric system and it bugs the heck out of me. On the old machines if you set the stitch length to 10 that's about how many stitches in an inch you get but what is the same amount in metric?

Anyway I did a search about stitch lengths and found this website. It's quite interesting on how they determine what is the best length to use for what fabrics.

It didn't answer my original question but I though this one was worth sharing.

ok with further searching I came across this which explains how to figure it out.

Hope this helps someone besides me
