It depends. Sometimes I have a certain fabric theme that I look for such as when I made an all polk a dot quilt. Sometimes I just wait to see what moves me! At one show this year I ended up buying some special pendants to be made into a necklace and I don't even make jewelry
I have band myself from buying anymore specialty rulers, I've learned they are not for me. Have fun, don't stress!
