... Maybe you are just too polite to Ilean? Just tell her to take a hike!!! Good training for Elise. I can't remember how I started sewing, but some of the early was sewing squares together. Two, then 2x2, then 2 sets of 4 and so on. We HAD TO press the seams open and heaven forbid if they did not match ... so I learned all about reverse stitching. Not too encouraging as a little one. And then eventually the joined pieces were big enough for a dolly blanket. Aprons were another of Mom's way of teaching us to sew with miles of store bought bias binding on the edges. Your DGDs are SO lucky to have you to help them learn. And yes ... looks like you will need a 3rd machine so you and the 2DGDs can all sew at the same time! Look forward to seeing some pics of the girls working away!
