Shocking Win
During a visit from my DD last March, we saw the Hoffman Challenge fabric at a local quilt store and decided to give their contest a try. Our ambition was just to have it selected as one of their traveling quilts. We named our quilt "Later Bob" because at the time Julie came I was working on a quilt for her sister, Bobbie. That quilt got put aside to work on the challenge. We received word this past Friday that our quilt had won the Best Incorporation of the Challenge Fabric award for a pieced quilt. Neither of us have come down from cloud nine yet. It was a treat to just be able to quilt with Julie for the week, this is icing on the cake.
