Default scrappy Carpenter's Star in oranges
This wallhanging (48" square) was commissioned by someone who wanted lots and lots of orange! I have always wanted to do a Carpenter's Star, so I was delighted by the order. In slouching around the web I have not seen any other Carpenter's where the diamonds are made of two triangles of different fabrics that have similar values, rather than it all being a single fabric. My customer and I landed on this arrangement by accident, as I was rearranging the half square triangles for the umpteenth time, aiming for the "perfect" layout.
