When I made a car seat quilt for my boyfriend's nephew, I didn't buy binding or backing fabric. I'd bought both a charm pack and a jelly roll of Moda Jungle Bungle to make it, and since I knew it would be hard to match it exactly, and the fabric is so fun, I used jelly roll strips for both that matched the strips I used on the front. I just made sure that there weren't any right next to each other that were too close in color and went for it! Maybe you could save your stash after all, if you have enough of the others to make the binding...
