I know that two of my guys make their own RenFaire costumes and a third has done some sewing. They all have bought their own vintage yard sale machines. And one of them has done some repair on them as well. The other two and my daughter not so much. She has made a couple of things for herself at various times but even though she asked for a machine I don't think it's been out of the box yet.
DGS wants me to sew it still, but he wants to do all the choosing of what for me to make
and he has been exploring any machine that's out and wanting to thread it so I figure he will be making his own pillowcases before long.
