Ah, Izy. I love your quilting. Love the fact that you pitched right in to do it by machine! I have one I'm working on that has carousel animals on it. I was thinking about machine stitching cause it would be easier and FASTER! But I chickened out and did them by hand. :( The animals are in a border like fabric so they are lined up one on top of the other. So far I have them quilted every other one. The thought of quilting around each and every one was daunting. Who knows though I might change my mind and do them all. :D I do have another 10 yds or so of the fabric so I'm thinking of making a smaller quilt to try the machine. Can you use regular all purpose thread or do you have to have special machine quilting threat? I know the process but knowing and doing are too different animals. :lol: :lol:
