Quilted by Kevin...We're Going to AQS in Des Moines!!!
OMG...when we got home from the shop today, there was a packet from AQS, and inside was a letter stating "Congratulations! Your quilt has been accepted for the 2013 AQS show in Des Moines, IA." I think we about fell off our seats when we read it! It was pieced by a customer (Rae W.) and this is one of the quilts that Kevin quilted last summer after he shattered his wrist (and he quilted it with the cast on!).
This is the first time either Rae or Kevin has entered a national quilt show, and we are just flabergasted (Kevin's word!) to have been accepted. No matter what happens now, we're just thrilled to be going.
