I just "Elmered" a table topper today and I used it straight from the bottle held about 12 inches high, and then drug a dampened sponge brush over the drizzles to flatten them out. Worked like a dream. If you let it dry completely it has no affect on your needle. I just finished a set of placemats and a quilted tote bag and, I'll tell you, I am in Love with Elmer!!!
