haha yep it is truly a Potato and Corn Fest with vendor booths, tons of fair food, rides, live music and fireworks. The cheerleaders worked the hamburger booth and parked cars as part of our fundraising efforts. They also did 2 exhibitions and were terrific. I worked 12 hours on Saturday on the grill. UGH.
I LOVE haiku - I used to write it when I was young. I find the simplicity and structure to be very soothing.
