I originally started out sending a PM to fantasticfeline after seeing one of her oriental quilts. After some back and forth with her. I have decided on not using metallics at all, going to do a fancy baptist fan design on the quarter circles. and a pebble in channel along the sashing. not really sure how to explain it more than that. I still have to get the borders on it before I can start quilting it. So it will be a little bit before it is finished. But the designs just clicked for me and I can "see" the finished product in my head.
I want to thank everyone for your help and input. I am still fairly new to quilting, (about 2yrs now) . I appreciate all the input.....and everyone is right, no more metallics on this top. I will save my metallic obsession for other tops. HUGS!
