I have never been to the Longest Yard Sale, we are always busy that weekend, for some reason. There is a long stretch of sales in Arkansas called Bargains Galore on 64. Since it ends right where our oldest son and family live, i have gone for several years. What I learned early on, is to .....just ask..... Sometimes people will have things that they didn't yet put out or don't think it is worth it to bother. I have asked in the past and found a woman with a stack of feedsacks. I have collected them for years. She had them under the table. I offered a price for the pile and got all of them. Once I asked about some boxes shoved to the side. They were "trash", turned out to be vintage fabric. I sorted out a pile and got it for a dollar.

Oh, by the way the Arkansas sale is next weekend. Starts on Thursday....there is a web site with a map. And were going. I have saved my money for this. Last time we got to go it was so hot, my sandals melted. Yeah, I get to see the grandkids, too.
