Apparently his pet peeve is when people respond with " I am doing GOOD".




Even though "good" is primarily an adjective, it is OK to say, "I am good" because am is a linking verb, and you can use adjectives after linking verbs.
I learned to say I'm happy when asked how I am doing. Takes all the stress off word use. LOL
