Trindles, we camp a lot in a Class C rv. I not only take a sewing machine when we camp, I have a small Singer (practical stitches only) that is dedicated to the rv. This machine does go to classes with me from time to time, but it's home is the rv.
My only "heads up" is to make sure any machine you travel with is as well protected from vibration and other camper engendered shaking and motion as possible.
