Hello lovely people,
I have just this minute joined this forum and wanted to say hi. I'm a jewellery maker really but became a fabric enthusiast not too long ago, for my birthday on the 25th August (I know not even yet but hey, I couldn't wait) I have been treated to a stack of fat quarters
from a beautiful shop in Wales.
I went on holiday recently and saw a great quilt exhibition/competition hung up around the gardens of Cae Hir (k-a-i h-e-e-r) in West Wales which gave me the boost to get out there and get some quilting done.
Which brings me to now..... I have only ever made two pieces of patchwork, one is in the profile photo, it's a sewing machine cover and it was pretty easy to make. I'll be asking lots of questions no doubt on my time here, I have no idea really what I am doing
