I have a Supernova and you have to push down and turn it. If you are doing that and it still isn't working use tri-flow oil on it (or whatever oil you have), in it and on everything it is connected to all of the way to the feed dogs. If the rest of the machine was gummy, then this probably is too. Keep working as many parts back and forth as you can. It will go.
