When you actually do the quilting on a project do you have to quilt both horizontally and vertically? Can you just sew in one direction? Will the batting bunch up if I quilt 4 inches apart and just vertically?
I don't know what possessed me to try something beyond by exlperience level. So now I'm stuck. I used a lot of scraps to make a zig-zag pattern. Now I'm not sure how to quilt it. I've only done stitch in the ditch on previous projects.... still a beginner.
Any thoughts would be very helpful
