About the only thing I have trouble getting clean is DH's jeans when they are greasy/dusty from field work. That's usually remedied by spraying well with Shout. Oh, I also like the Tide Pods and the Tide stain lifter packets; can't say I've had a problem with too many suds.
I don't think nonfarmers realize how dirty those jeans get! I remember one summer day while growing up. I was delegated to do the weekly wash (Maytag wringer was the machine of choice). Those days you started with the cleanest and lightest clothes first and worked your way up to the dirtiest saving the water and adding more if you needed. After sorting clothes and sticking my hands into those dirty overall pockets. (They could stand on their own they were so encased in sweat dirt and grease.) and getting the first load started I walked up from the basement declaring "I am never marrying a farmer." That was before DH entered the picture. 45 years later I'm still sticking my hands into dirty overall pockets
