QNS--The pattern I am using is called "The Big EZ II"
http://www.bloomcreek.com/store/prod...s/?product=177 Where the pattern has 4 squares together I altered to make a border for the embroidered blocks. The very middle block will be one of the green prints since there are 13 spaces and only 12 months.
I am really happy with how this one is coming together. I liked the fabrics all stacked up, but really like them now that they are cut and surrounding the month blocks.
