The County fairs have always been a place where homemakers can bring their quilts, canned foods and other craft items to be seen and judged. One of the things I love best is to go through the showroom ad look at all the beautiful things with ribbons hanging on them. It always helps my feelings if something of mine has a ribbon. Most of the fairs pay premiums for the different ribbons. I love picking up a check with my stuff when I take it home. Quilting is a dying art. We must keep it alive!
