My only gripe with Burkholders is that I called there once looking for a specific fabric and the girl told me to hold on so she could go check, then said that yes, they had plenty of it so I drove out (I was staying in Intercourse at the time) and they in fact, did not have it and didn't seem at all concerned that I'd driven all the way out there based on being told they did. I mentioned this to a local customer in another shop and she said they'd done the same thing to her once before. They do have a huge selection of fabrics though, with lots of theme prints that I haven't seen anywhere else other than on line.

Sauders has some good prices on flat folds. I've also visited Weavers a few times. It's a nice shop, but usually I find so much at the other places I visit that I don't bother with them since they aren't close to anything else.

I do love getting away to Lancaster for a day or two whenever I can!
