I am thinking my mom used those wicker like things in the center of the table and she also had this trivet she used that was what I thought was a resin owl but now I am thinking maybe it wasn't resin or it wouldn't hold a hot dish without melting right? oh it was truly beautiful LOL burnt orange, olive green, mustard gold all to match that stove, fridge and oven! egad. so ok it wont be either of those things which leaves me open to making something that might be actually trend friendly. I don't enjoy making modern style things very much they throw me for a loop.. so is it ok to make a modern color but traditional style one? hum.. now its a thinking thing.
