I lost my health insurance when I was in the middle of a health crisis and it was too late for that year for my DH's job open door sign up. I was pi$$ed to say the least. I had two options. I could quilt or commit a violent act ~ I was that angry. So I decided to quilt. I made several beautiful table runners where my points and seams all matched (Quite a feat for me!) and gave them as gifts to several extremely supportive friends. All this to say that quilting is my therapy but I also fix up vintage machines for therapy too. Retail therapy is mostly not my thing unless it's a vintage machine.
