I have ready here on the Forum so many lovely stories about you GDs learning to quilt with you but here in the UK is is not so common as so many of our Mums n GMs don't know how to use a sewing machine themselves! So sad so this is why I started my own little free sewing classes called "Sew-n-Sew". The 1st thing I do is to show them how to clean, set up their machine and change their sewing needles and when I ask what they want to sew they take one look at the other ladies sewing away at their quilts and they say I want to make one of those, and they do, it's lovely and here you can see why I enjoy it.
