Default My 'Las Cruces' in Batiks!

The first time I saw this pattern, I knew I had to make it in queen size! Las Cruces by J. Michelle Watts. Las Cruces means The Crosses. These designs (I believe) are defined as Southwestern crosses. It is all applique. I did fusible with raw edge, blanket stitched with coordinating thread. I quilted it with an echo on all of the crosses within the blocks and SID around the interior block, with a block fill, and echoed the scallops and points with the sashing, finished with a southwestern quilting design on the border.
This quilt really fulfilled many creative juices for me! I loved picking out all the batiks, and seeing each block come together, then the layout and the top happening I do have more pics if anyone want to see more This is hanging up on a wall - obviously not the best angle to have taken these.
