It uses 15x1 or in Singer nomenclature 2020 needles. And yes it uses slant shank feet and attachments. It will have plastic gears in it, and under the top is a few actual oil spots where the main shaft passes through the machine body. Then all the stamped metal pieces could use some oil too.
The critical part for oil is under that huge face plate. Behind all the stamped stuff is the needle bar and presser foot shafts and linkages. These parts really need oil. Especially the needle arm parts. If they have not been oiled they will become sluggish and you won't get full patterns. That was the case with our 4622A which is very similar to your machine.
This is one machine that really benefits from Tri-Flow oil. Regular sewing machine oil didn't help the sluggish ZZ and pattern stitches of our machine. But the Tri-Flow slicked it right up.
On ours I also used some Tri-Flow grease on the plastic gears. It had some dried up white grease on it so I cleaned that off and relubed it. Much smoother and quieter now.
