I went on a road trip with a very good friend of mine was going to test for a firefighter position in Muskegon. While he took his test I was going to visit with a friend of mine from the Muskegon FD, we went to inspector school together at the State Police Academy. We were riding along, talking very serious about the upcoming test and him being nervous as we approached Edmore. It seems like we were coming up a slight hill and when we came around a curve right on the side of the road was a huge ELEPHANT! In Edmore! We first gasped, I remember we looked at each other and then laughed and laughed. Apparently there was a circus in town. We talk about our trip whenever we see each other. Good luck at the show! If you see a blond (probably carrying a bag of goodies she bought) with two little short friends walking around aimlessly with stars in her eye, drooling over the quilts - that's me!
