I agree with you Cecilia but sometimes the older dealers sometimes do price things so high that the item is not a good resale/buying option. Perhaps after spending hours refurbishing with loving care they have an emotional/sentimental investment along with the time element. With that said, however, they are excellent at their craft and their knowledge and "know how" can be considered priceless. The collectible machines will sell for what the "market" will bear or what ever a buyer is willing to pay.
