I have decided long ago that squares and rectangles is all I need to cut! I measure with a ruler every piece across the longest and widest parts and cut a a square/rectangle to that measurement plus 1/2 to 3/4". Works for me every time. And yes, there is more waste but I do a lot of crumbs and miniature piecing that they are not really waste to me
Hi Candi, I save all my little scraps but haven't done anything with the smallest pieces yet. When you say you do crumbs, is that the Bonnie Hunter thing? Thanks.
