I have the 6" ruler and do love it for paper piecing. I think I will be ordering the 12" just to have on hand.
I had to by the 12" for a large paper peiced star wallhanging , but I seam to use that one the most.
Still trying to decided on what to do have so much fabric need to use what I have. Because I just bought a new to me machine and now the fabric budget is pretty slim for awhile.
