i made a quilt for my granddaughter but did not realize until it was quilted that i had meant to reduce the pattern by one row so it would fit her bed. she has one of those raised beds with the desk underneath. the quilt hangs down far enough to make a curtain. way too big.
at least you now have some fabric left that will be useful for another project. but wait, will it be too short next time. oh, dear! ha ha. good luck.
