I agree with the suggestion for new sewists to start with a used machine before spending lots of money on a new machine. Your needs may change once you start sewing and you can then spend the big money on what you really want. If the machine operates smoothly, the tension is good, it looks like the machine would work for what you need.
I agree with this. In our area a woman bought everything she'd need for a quilting room & found out she didn't have the time or patience for it. COST(she said):Aprox. $25,000. was selling (2 mos. down the road)$8,000.
