I got this 221K of ebay last week and have been so busy, finally had a chance to sit down and work on it tonight and take a picture. The auction stated that something was wrong with the bobbin. I told hubby no big deal...I can fix it. I worked in a sewing factory for years and I also LOVE to take things apart and put them back together.
Soooo, I dug out a some threads that were jammed in it, took off the throat plate, undid the hook assembly etc. Oiled it all up and put it back together correctly. The little finger that goes in the "groove" of the throat plate was just spinning around all willy nilly. And there was a rough spot so I fixed that, too. Easy peasy. The case is in perfect condition and quite honestly, if anyone ever sewed on it, it wasn't much. No fuzzies anywhere and no worn spots in the paint.
I oiled it up everywhere, adjusted the motor/belt tension, and got the thread tension all happy. I have always wanted a white FW. Now I just need to get a black one.
