Elmer's School Glue Questions.
I am getting ready to glue baste my first quilt. It's not too large, 50" x 60". I have 2 questions.
1. If you "set" the glue with your iron does it still wash out? I have used Sharon Schambers binding method and it uses the iron and now I am worried it won't wash out. Don't want to do that to the entire quilt.
2. Do you use an occasional pin to keep everything from shifting, especially if you are only quilting part of the quilt, leaving in the machine for a few days, then returning? I FMQ on my DSM.
I was going to test the glue thing myself but know you all can save me the time.
