Somerset Val

I need help again, please! Has anyone used this batting? If so, how did you apply it? Did you use a damp cloth and, if so, did you place it on the patchwork or on the back of the batting? I'm sure someone out there will have used it and can tell me the best way! I want to use it for a table runner, not for a quilt.
