The type used here is a children's *washable* white school glue. I would imagine that most countries have something similar. It is the type of glue used in the lower elementary grades because it washes easily off hands, out of clothing, out of hair, etc. I would think any kindergarten or lower elementary grade school teacher would know the brand name of this type of glue in Belgium. If you're not sure, it would be a good idea test the glue you find to make sure that it does not stain fabrics and that it washes out. Just glue a test sandwich together, machine quilt it to keep it together, wash, and see if you find any glue residue or stains after washing. The glue we use is basically simply a very heavy starch.
