I buy CT fabric and quilt kits. I have no complaints at all. I mix it with the brand name quilt fabric bought at Hancocks's of Paducah and Keepsakes Quilting, can't tell any difference in quality. I ordered very expensive Tula Pink fabric and sent it back, didn't like the drape or feel at all. You can't go by name or price when it comes to fabric. David Textiles is sold at Walmart and it is the same as sold in quilt shops. I asked the quilt shops that sell it and they said yes, it comes from the same bolt lots and the shops sell it for about the same price as Walmart. Craft fabric which is 100% cotton sold at Walmart will be the less quality. The quilting fabric at Walmart is about $8 - $9 a yard. If your Walmart doesn't have quilt fabric then it's craft fabric.
