I got assigned a work project to build a demo wall-hanging based on a pattern the boss drew up and then teach a class on it. The only major problem is I've only appliqued once, if you can call a satin stitch around a large letter "D" for my nephew's cape applique. I looked at the boss when she handed me this project and said "You know I don't have a clue how to applique, right?". She just smiled and responded with "Guess now's as good of a time to learn as any". Eek! Can someone point me to some good youtube videos or basics tutorials? I'm starting from almost scratch.
