My mother would not let me sew on her machine, the same as that one. It just sat there. I was eleven when I took advantage of her absence one day, took it all apart, cleaned it, fiddled, and when she got home, was sewing away. Never had to ask again, it was mine from then on. I have one but the old round plugs are impossible to find. I keep looking for one, hoping for good wiring and a working motor. Lucky, lucky you.
